Participants violating the Code of Conduct may be removed from the course or workshop.

Participation in any HDRW courses and workshops requires a signed Confidentiality Form to be submitted prior to the first session. Participant Conduct & Dismissal Policy

High Desert Raven Writing is committed to fostering a respectful and supportive environment for all participants. By enrolling in our workshops or courses, you agree to:

• Maintain confidentiality of all shared stories and discussions.
• Engage respectfully with instructors and fellow participants.
• Refrain from disruptive, inappropriate, or harmful behavior, including but not limited to:
• Harassment, discrimination, or bullying.
• Repeated disruptions of the group setting.
• Violating the terms of confidentiality.

High Desert Raven Writing reserves the right to remove any participant who engages in disruptive, inappropriate, or harmful behavior, including but not limited to:

• Harassment or discrimination.
• Violation of confidentiality agreements or intellectual property rights.
• Disruptive or inappropriate behavior in the learning environment.

 

No refunds will be provided in cases of participant dismissal due to misconduct.

Dismissal Policy

Immediate Dismissal: The participant may be dismissed from the course and all associated programs without warning.  Dismissals will be immediate, and access to the course and platform will be permanently revoked.

No Refund: Participants dismissed for serious violations will not receive a refund for any tuition, fees, or other costs paid for the course or program.

 

Removal from the Workshop

Participants may be removed from the workshop for:

• Violating the Code of Conduct
• Engaging in disruptive or harmful behavior.
• Failing to adhere to workshop guidelines.

High Desert Raven Writing reserves the right to remove any participant who fails to adhere to these guidelines. If a participant is removed for any reason, no refund will be issued.

We do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

This policy is designed to clearly communicate that disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and will result in the loss of the participation fee.

 

Consequences of Rule Violations

For minor infractions, participants may receive a warning. Repeated violations or serious breaches of policy may result in the removal from the workshop without a refund.

 

Registration, Payments, Cancellations

Registration & Group Closure

Registration Policy

• Registration for HDRW workshops is required in advance.
• Once a group reaches capacity, registration will be closed.
• Late Registrations will not be accepted after the course has begun.

No Transfers

Registrations cannot be transferred to another individual or future course.

To maintain an intimate and focused learning environment, groups registrations will close to new participants once registration reaches capacity for each group, for each session.  No late registrations will be permitted after the course has begun.

 

Refund & Cancellation Policy

No Refund Policy

All purchases for High Desert Raven Writing workshops, courses, and other services are final. High Desert Raven Writing does not offer refunds, including for participant removal due to violations of policies. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including participant removal due to misconduct.

 

Rescheduling & Alternative Options

If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, we will work with you to:

• Reschedule for another available session.
• Offer an alternative session of equal value.
• One reschedule per participant is allowed, subject to availability.
• Additional rescheduling requests may be subject to an administrative fee or denied.

Cancellations by High Desert Raven Writing

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, if we cancel, we will offer:

 

1. A rescheduled session, OR
2. An alternative session of equal value.

 

High Desert Raven Writing – Agreement to Policies

By registering for a High Desert Raven Writing (HDRW) workshop, course, or event, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies regarding registration, payments, and cancellations.

 

Registration & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot in any HDRW offering.

Your registration is non-transferable unless prior arrangements have been made.

 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

No Refund Policy: HDRW does not offer refunds. However, we understand that life happens. If you cannot attend a session, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative, such as rescheduling for a future session or applying your payment toward a different offering.

Missed Sessions: If you miss a session on a multi-week course, there is no guarantee of a makeup session, but resources may be provided to help you catch up.

Event Cancellations by HDRW: If an event is canceled by HDRW due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered the option to reschedule or receive credit for future use.
